Upcoming Updates - New Worlds & Downtime

To prepare for the launch of Grid Master on October 15th there will be no game update this week and instead, there will be reboot on Thursday 9th October for the standard changes to the PvP World Rota. Downtime will be minimal, just like a regular game update.

Alongside the reboot on Thursday, we'll also be adding 60 new worlds! These are being added in preparation for the full release and we'd like to test their performance ahead of time given it's such a high number of worlds being added at once!
We want to ensure that there are enough worlds for players to enjoy our very first community event, alongside those who want to continue progressing on the main game!
With these additional worlds, we know there are concerns around the Wilderness and PvP. More worlds means more hopping, fewer fights, and less fun.
We'd like to clarify that while these new worlds will launch as standard worlds (so we can monitor them ahead of the Grid Master launch to ensure stability), once Grid Master goes live, they will become exclusive to the event. Once the event ends, they'll be removed.
Behind the scenes, we have begun early discussions around the impact that increasing the number of worlds has on player interactions within the Wilderness, and what we might be able to do to alleviate this. There's nothing concrete for us to share yet, but when we're ready we'll look to all of you to get your feedback!
We also want to let you know that on Tuesday 14th October there will be approximately a 3 hour period of maintenance to help ensure more robust and safer systems are in place for the launch. During this time, all worlds will be offline. This could also impact some other areas like the website.
