Rune Darts require 40 ranged to wield and have a very fast attack speed making them a viable training option. They can also be added to a Toxic Blowpipe, which is the cause of their extremely high price tag. Providing the player has completing the Tourist Trap quest, they can smith Rune Darts at level 89 smithing and level 81 fletching.
