- Plugins are officially arriving in RuneScape today! Check the section below and the dedicated blog for more information.
- RuneScape Reignited was cancelled last week, but we're aware that there still some remaining questions and discussions in community around the decision. We will likely be speaking to these in different ways this week.
- We are working on the design preview for the MTX items that are being revised in November. Our plan is to share this preview towards the end of the week, but it may make more sense to roll the preview for these items into next weeks larger preview of the Lategame Rebalance project, as there is some overlap between the two.

RuneScape API Plugin Hub: Out Now!
We're excited to announce that the RuneScape API Plugin Hub is now live!
Following the launch of our Open Beta earlier this month, and thanks to the incredible work of our plugin developer community, you can now jump in-game and try all the plugins featured during the Beta! If you're new to plugins, they're handy tools created by community developers to enhance your gameplay experience in different ways. For example, Quest Helper is designed to guide you through quests, while Tilemarkers lets you mark useful locations throughout the game world.
These are just two of the many amazing ideas the community has already started bringing to life. Speaking of which, thinking about making a plugin of your own?
With today's update, we're also officially opening submissions for new plugins to the RuneScape Plugin Hub! Head over to developer.runescape.com for everything you need to know about getting started, and join the Official RS Plugin Discord to connect with the community.
Of course, opening up the RuneScape API is only the beginning of this journey. New plugins will be released in batches over the coming months. We’re expecting lots of interest from the plugin developer community, which means plenty of submissions for us to review! The first few weeks are likely to be particularly busy, so please bear with us as we work through each submission and make sure every plugin gets the time and attention it deserves.

Patch Notes
Ghrazi Blood Knights
- Resolved an issue causing the Lady Karmini pet to not display the players correct combined kill counts of normal and hard mode
- Zammo the Rak and Amaskitty now show highest enrage achieved by the owner when examined.
- The Ghrazi Blood Knights are now correctly required for the Reaper crew achievement
- Updated the examine text on the Blood Knights featured portal in War’s Retreat to include the same flavour text used by the regular boss portals.
- Resolved an issue that in some cases prevented the player from dying when staying on the tile that is being broken in the Blood Knight encounter
- Increased the amount of guaranteed Crimson Ichor received in higher enrage Blood Knight kills, 1k = 2, 2k = 4
- The Ghrazi Blood Knights are now sorted alphabetically in the collection log and in the achievements list under combat
- Resolved an issue where the sanguine tumours could spawn under Lord or Lady Ghrazi
- Made the following balancing changes to the Blood Knight boss Encounter:
- The extra action button for Anya's shield in P5 is now instant on click.
- Boss stacks are built more slowly:
- Max stack amount increased from 12 -> 24.
- Damage taken increase per stack halved from 8% -> 4%.
- Stacks fall off completely after 30 seconds of not being attacked by the Blood Knight, instead of falling off over time.
- These changes aim to better accommodate tank switching throughout the fight.
- Blood Bomb is now treated as base damage from optimal range. For example in 1k, 3 tile range = optimal range and every tile after 3 tiles adds additional damage.
- Changes to Phase 3:
- Now grant half stacks on death, 50 -> 25.
- The Blood Knight channelling adds 1 stack per tick, down from 2.
- When being teleported down from the heart you will be immune to telegraphed attacks for a short duration.
General
- Reinstated the larger Arch-Glacor clickbox alongside an engine fix that will allow the larger clickbox to work correctly.
- Removed some quest items from appearing in GE searches.
- Charos' Clue Carrier size has been increased to be able to hold Hard, Elite and Master seasonal clue caskets
- Fixed a bug that caused multiple bow of the last guardian passive activations to incorrectly overwrite damage
Hotfixed last week
- Resolved an issue where summoning or accessing a familiar was difficult inside of the Ghrazi Blood Knight boss arena
- Opening Spooky Hard Caskets with the Orlando Smith's Hat equipped no longer has a chance to crash the game
- Spooky Tokens now correctly show in Harvest Boon shop
- Player is now informed of 150,000 spooky token soft cap when converting H'oddments to spooky tokens, H'oddments will only be deducted up to that soft cap until the player spends tokens in the store

STAR SPRITES AND RUNESCAPE COMMUNITIES HALLOWEEN PARADE 2026 ~ BOO BASH!
Halloween is almost here, and things are about to get boo-tiful! What better way to celebrate the spookiest time of year than by joining us for a Halloween Parade?
Join the RuneScape Discord Star Sprites and the RuneScape Community as we creep and crawl through Gielinor, making our way from Draynor Village to the Harvest Hollow Portal in Varrock! Along the way, we’ll stop at various locations for a chat and some spooky dancing.
Once we reach our destination, we’ll explore the Hollow, gather around the bonfire and capture some hauntingly beautiful screenshots together!
