Fever spiders are fairly quick to kill due to them having low defense and minimal drops, slayer gloves however are required to be worn to prevent becoming diseased and being damaged repetitively while fighting this monster. Fever spiders become available as a slayer assignment once the quest Rum Deal has been started.
